David Emerson
Executive Director

David is responsible for all St. Vrain affiliate activities. Prior to moving to Longmont, David served as the volunteer Executive Board Director of South Palm Beach County Habitat for Humanity for two and a half years. While there he launched a ReStore, developed a long-term strategic plan, and led the successful search for a new executive director. In 2006 he left 3M, where he was a sales analyst, to pursue his passion for Habitat’s mission full-time. 

David believes that it is a matter of human dignity to provide housing for all people, regardless of race, creed, or economic status. His passion was recognized when he was named 2007 Habitat for Humanity Colorado Executive Director of the Year. 

David holds a MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. In his free time, he enjoys coaching and playing sports.


Linda Momayez

Linda started at Habitat for Humanity in June 2014. She splits her work week between Flatirons Habitat in Lafayette, Berthoud Habitat in Berthoud, and St. Vrain Habitat in Longmont.

Linda grew up in Boulder, CO before moving to Orange County in California for 25 years. Missing her family she decided to move back to Colorado in 2000 and now lives in Erie. She attends Flatirons Community Church and has watched it continue to grow in the last 15 years.

Linda loves spending her free time with her two adult children and five grandchildren. She also enjoys gardening, camping and traveling.


Homeowner Service Team


Julie Gallegos
Director of Homeowner Services and International Development

Julie started with Habitat in the Spring of 2008 and has served in the Homeowner Services Department since working as the Director of Homeowner Services and International Development. Julie has 18 years’ experience working in non-profits including a Homeless Shelter in Westminster and a Refugee Resettlement Agency in Tucson. She served as a Director of a school for Sudanese and other East African refugees in Cairo, Egypt. 

Julie is passionate about Habitat’s international work connecting the local office to our international tithe partners. She enjoys leading Habitat Global Village trips to help build homes with Habitat affiliates in other countries.  Outside of Habitat Julie is kept very busy with her two young sons and studying International Development.


Micaela Chacon
Homeowner Support Coordinator

Micaela has lived in Longmont for 26 years and has a passion to serve others. She holds work experience in a variety of supervisory roles in manufacturing. After the flood of 2013, she began doing volunteer work, assisting people in navigating resources available for flood victims. She also joined the Long-Term Flood Recovery Group of Boulder County through her role as a case manager, assisting Latino families.

Micaela started working for Habitat in October 2015 to assist with additional homeowner services programming and providing translation. She also hosts educational workshops for Habitat homeowners. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family.


Erin Minaya
Homeowner Services Coordinator

Erin grew up in Longmont and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity while in high school.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at CSU she moved to Chicago to earn a Master of Divinity Degree. She then spent two years working with youth and adults in a church in Michigan. Erin traveled to South America and spent six months teaching English in South Korea.

Erin loves making a difference in her community. She hosts Habitat orientations and manages homeowner selection.


Development Team


John Lovell
Director of Development

John started volunteering with St. Vrain Habitat in2000. He worked on the affiliate's first strategic plan and opened the ReStore in 2006. From 2008-2010 John served Flatirons Habitat for Humanity as Executive Director. John has been in marketing and sales leadership roles in a variety of industries. He also owns a photography business specializing in portraiture and commercial work. 

Habitat's philosophy of "a hand up, not a hand out" initially attracted John to the organization.  He believes that all people should put their faith into action.  

John, a graduate of the University of Colorado, holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is an active member of Rocky Mountain Christian Church. He loves to hike and snowshoe whenever possible. 


Krystal Winship Erazo
Neighborhood Revitalization Manager

Krystal is a native to Longmont and joins Habitat with 15 years of experience in affordable housing program development and management. She believes in the capacity of affordable housing to promote equity, sustainable social infrastructure and economic development.  She is most drawn to Habitat for the heart of their mission to build homes, communities and hope with dignity and compassion.

Krystal received her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Anthropology from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon in 2003.  Prior to Habitat, she worked with Longmont Housing Authority for over 10 years. She volunteers with Suncrest Hospice and Willow Farm and is a proud fan at her family’s many soccer games. 

Krystal most enjoys sharing time with friends and family in the mountains, the garden, and around the kitchen table.

Rebecca Shannon
Outreach and Volunteer Manager

Rebecca Shannon has 15 years’ experience in product development and manufacturing from the outdoor industry where her passion was guiding hikes & backpacking trips for outdoor education programs.

Prior to joining St. Vrain Habitat, Rebecca was Director of Volunteer Engagement for the Volunteer Connection at Foothills United Way. Rebecca is also the Host Site Manager for our AmeriCorps program. Rebecca completed a Masters of Nonprofit Management at Regis University. 

Originally from New Hampshire and a country girl at heart, Rebecca has embraced Colorado as her home. When not working, you can find Rebecca outside: on her mountain bike or in the garden, hiking with her husband & dog or wrangling backyard chickens.


Hannah Williams

Hannah is passionate about bringing quality communications to nonprofit organizations. She began volunteering in nonprofit organizations at the age of 13 and remains dedicated in her passion for transforming families and communities. 

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications: Public Relations from Geneva College in Pennsylvania and holds a Masters in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. Originally hailing from California, Hannah has lived on both coasts, but has made Colorado her home.

Hannah joined Habitat in April 2018 to boost marketing and communications and to coordinate volunteerism for the ReStore. Habitat’s philosophy and practice of partnering with families to renew and restore communities is what initially drew Hannah to this position. She enjoys bringing her time and talents to the Habitat team.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys the beautiful Colorado sunshine, reading, creative writing, spending time with her husband and cat, church ministry, and singing.  


Construction Team


Stephen Scott
Construction Director

Stephen has 10 years of construction experience on both single family and multi unit homes.  He has also been active in Habitat’s home repair program. 

Stephen attended Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi. He first engaged with Habitat for Humanity in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and has worked for affiliates in Bay St. Louis, MS and Tuscaloosa, AL.

Stephen joined the St. Vrain team in September of 2014 with construction.


David Kirk
Site Supervisor  

David started with Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley in January 2016. He graduated from the University of Maryland in May 2013 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. It was during college that he first became involved with Habitat through winter break service trips to South Carolina.

After graduation, he decided to pursue his interest in constructing affordable housing. He served as an AmeriCorps Construction Crew Leader with Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C for two years before taking a job in Longmont as a Site Supervisor.


Geoff Held
SharedSite Supervisor

Geoff began working with Habitat in 2018. He had reached a transitionary period in his life, and hoped to work in nonprofit construction. After hearing about Habitat from a mutual colleague, he applied for an opening. He is happy to be part of the team.

Before moving to Colorado, Geoff worked for five years with All Hands Volunteers, a disaster-relief nonprofit. This is where he discovered his passion for nonprofit work and construction. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, tattoos, traveling, cooking and baking, DIY projects, and volunteering.


ReStore Team

Ed Kepple

Ed joined our Habitat for Humanity ReStore team in August 2016. He brings more than 40 years of retail experience including store management, district management, merchandising, purchasing, product development and team building by leadership.  He has held positions with companies such as Fed-Mart, Costco, Sam's Club, Pace Warehouse, Best Buy, and SAS Retail Services.

Most recently Ed held the position of Store Manager for the Salvation Army flagship store in Parker, Colorado.  Ed carries a strong work ethic lead by encouragement, empowerment and enthusiasm for greater productivity by emphasis on TEAM. 

Ed and his wife of 32 years, Susan, are active volunteers and provide their home as a foster home for the Colorado Japanese Chin "dog" Rescue.  For seven years they have opened their home to fostering chins and dedicated their love to rehabilitating and re-homing more than thirty Japanese Chins to their forever homes.

In his spare time, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife Susan, family, grandchildren, grilling, NASCAR racing, football, thrifting and antiquing at Thrift and Antique stores.

Ed is excited to bring his skills and experience to the Habitat family to help build affordable housing in the St. Vrain area.
