How to Apply

Applications will close after April 1, 2024.

Step 1: Complete the Application

Download and complete all items on the checklist. You can drop them off at our office located at 303 Atwood St. Longmont, CO 80501, Monday – Friday from 9am-4pm.

If you would like to submit your application electronically, please do not email it. You can click the following link to create an account at St. Vrain Habitat Online Submission. If it is your first time on this page, click on New Inquiry and follow the prompts. Once you have created an account click on the link again and log in with the account information you just created. Click on Upload Documents to submit all your documents.

Complete all steps on the checklist, and return the Application and accompanying documents. If you need to pick up a paper copy please contact us to schedule an appointment to pick up an application.

Step 2: Take the orientation on the Homebuyer Education website.

Take the General Orientation and Longmont - Information Classes.

Step 3: Print certificate of completion.

Once you have competed the course and quiz you will receive a certificate of completion. Print or save the certificate and submit it with your application.

Step 4: Minimum Requirements

If you meet the minimum requirements, you will be sent a request for additional documents.

If you do not meet the minimum requirements, you will be notified. You can reapply at a future date.

Step 5: Additional Documents

Once you receive additional documents, complete and return those documents as requested.

Step 6: Interview

If all documents have been received and meet our minimum requirements, you will be contacted to complete an interview with the Homeowner Selection Committee.

Step 7: Acceptance and Denial

Once all steps have been completed, we will determine if your application has been approved or denied and you will be notified.
