OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEERS

St. Vrain Habitat has a busy office that is open 5 days a week. We often have projects that need the attention of people with computer or telephone skills. We are seeking volunteers that can contribute 2 or more hours per week. Contact Doris Crespo or call 303-682-24585 x106.

Interested in volunteering as an admin/customer service at the ReStore? Contact the Volunteer Coordinator or call 303-682-2485 x106.

FAMILY SELECTION COMMITTEE

The Family Selection Committee works to identify and qualify new Habitat homeowners. Members interview, screen and recommend potential homeowners to the Board of Directors. Individuals volunteering on this committee must be available to review applications and be comfortable interviewing people in the applicant's home. Spanish-speaking volunteers are helpful on this committee.

INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
COMMITTEE

The International Development Committee evaluates and selects the international Tithe Partnerships of Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley. The group is also responsible for developing and promoting the work of Habitat’s International Ministry as well as working with Global Village trip participants. The committee meets bi-monthly for 2 hours per meeting. Contact Julie Gallegos

GIFT OF HOME TOUR
(VARIOUS ROLES)

The Gift of Home Tour is St. Vrain Habitat’s new signature event. This 55+ year tour is a much beloved hallmark of the Longmont holiday scene. Habitat inherited and hosted the tour last year and will continue again for years to come. Four unique houses in Longmont neighborhoods will be professionally decorated for the holidays. Items will be available for purchase by the vendors (and ticket sales & sponsorships benefit Habitat).
