2/21/19 - Glens homeowner, Graciela grew very fond of all of ‘her kids’ (the AmeriCorps NCCC Southwest Region team) during their 6 weeks in Colorado. Since an injury two years ago, Graciela has been unable to complete house projects. Now with the help of the AmeriCorps team, she finished critical repair projects in a few weeks time. They installed windows, flooring, repaired drywall and painted the exterior of her home. Graciella prepared lunch for them every day they worked. They gathered over their last meal together on Saturday, with gratitude for work done and new friendships and a new favorite recipe, frijoles con queso!
2/14/19 - Today we celebrate neighbors and friends in The Glens of Dacono! #heartdacono
12/9/18 - It started as an idea one year ago…On December 9th, neighbors gathered to dedicate the new Mural at Esh’s with a Posada/ Celebration! Local artist, Bart McCune designed and installed the mural this fall to honor the history of Dacono. The mural was one of 4 community projects identified by the Pride of The Glens Coalition and funded by Wells Fargo to build community this year.

12/9/18 - Nearly 70 folks attended the Mural Posada/Celebration, enjoying hot cocoa, traditional champurrado, sweet breads and traditional Mexican dancers, los matachines! What does ‘community’ mean to you?
11/13/18 - Kicking off the Neighborhood Revitalization Learning Cohort at Habitat International in Atlanta! Doris Crespo, Kathy Wittman, Krystal Winship Erazo and Dave Emerson gather with groups from 9 other affiliates chosen for a 5 year partnership to invest in and evaluate neighborhood revitalization quality of life framework!
8/30/18 - Thank you to our Wells Fargo, Pride of The Glens Coalition, and St. Vrain Habitat staff, board members, and volunteers who joined us for a landscaping day at Clem DuFour Park in The Glens neighborhood of Dacono. The flowers look beautiful. Thanks Wells Fargo for supporting The Glens in Dacono as part of an initiative to revitalize neighborhoods across the country.
8/22/18 - St. Vrain Habitat is the grateful recipient of a $22,500 grant from Wells Fargo for Neighborhood Revitalization in The Glens neighborhood of Dacono.
