GLOBAL VILLAGE TRIPS

Habitat International is committed to building cross-cultural relationships through the Global Village Volunteer program. Our vision for St. Vrain Valley Global Village Trips is to demonstrate faith in action.

August 28th-September 4th, 2018 - St. Vrain Habitat is taking an Educational and Capacity Building Trip to Yerevan, Armenia. Follow the St. Vrain Habitat Armenia trip via our blog (click image above).

This is accomplished by:

1) Supporting the work of Habitat Tithe Partners

We visit to support the work of the local affiliate. We do not come to fix processes or teach “better” practices but to work alongside our brothers and sisters who have been and will continue to do great work in the process of eliminating substandard housing.

2) Energizing our local affiliate

We will increase local participation from those more inclined to support international development and help those in our community see the need and work in our own neighborhoods, as well as internationally.

3) Building relationships with those we support financially

Our tithe supports international affiliates by financial means, but our relationship and our global story will only increase in authenticity with relationships built by working side by side. Through meaningful relationships built on the trips, we will increase our ability to describe the need and promote the work of our tithe partners.
