Program Application Process
The application process is about 3 months. After you are selected, it takes about 18 months to move into your new home.

Habitat holds orientations when the construction team is ready to begin building a new home. If you would like to be on our interest list so that you will be notified when an orientation is scheduled, please contact Erin Minaya, Homeowner Services Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-682-2485 x104.
Orientation is about 90 minutes long. You will learn about the program and pickup an application. If you are unable to attend an orientation you may pick up an application at the Habitat office.

Next, you will turn in your completed application and accompanying documents to the HFHSVV office. Habitat will not take your originals or make copies for you.
If you pass the financial review volunteers will hold a home interview in your current house. They will ask questions about your Willingness to Partner. Next, they will review your Ability to Pay. Last, they will walk through your entire home to see the Need for Housing.
HOMEOWNER PARTNER SELECTION
Last, the Homeowner Selection Committee will review all of the applications and make their recommendation to the Board of Directors. Not every family gets selected. However, everyone is welcome to reapply in a future application cycle.
